This custom powdercoated aluminum skylight was constructed to follow the lines of a doubly-curved studio addition. Two motorized, operable glass skylights are framed by four curved polycarbonate panes. The ample lighting creates an environment suitable for a lush garden to screen the kitchen from the gallery and dining area.

Counterweighted anodized aluminum Ladder/Stair and floating acrylic door panel for residential office. All custom stainless steel mechanicals and hardware, marine oval aluminum tubing, custom-perforated and formed treads. Translucent acrylic panel closes into anodized aluminum door frame.

A sliding cantilevered countertop, the 3" deep quartz conceals a custom steel rail & roller bearing structure which allows the top to slide from side to side with minimal noise and effort. Soft positive brakes cushion the travel at end positions. Structural steel frame embedded in lower casework to support the additional weight and movement.

Serving the purpose of both entry gates and a museum exhibit at the Exploratorium at Pier 15 in San Francisco, the waterjet cut imagery depicts the tidal patterns of May 1969, the date of the opening of the Museum. Unique features include no-header frames, ADA automated compliance, cast silicone custom glazing in custom stainless clip system. Of formed, welded, milled and painted mild steel, stainless steel custom hardware.

Ten aluminum shoji screens on a stainless steel track system conceal the client's kitchen. The infill screens are made of fiberglass and bamboo, allowing for some transparency to the appliances beyond.

New steel entry door with security bars and deep steel jamb. Fabricated using hot rolled mild steel plate and flat bar, with bead-blasted glass infill. Door fitted with pivot closer, intercom and electric strike for a commercial office.
